ALL-STATE and ALL-STAR
POLICIES
The blue and gold All-State
jacket with the gold All-State patch that is shaped like the state of
Oklahoma will be worn only by the athletes who have been selected as
All-State by criteria approved by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.
Track and field All-State
status is achieved by winning an event at the state meet. Seniors that are
state champions are entitled to obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket.
Underclass persons are allowed to obtain a red and gold All-Star jacket.
When the underclass state champion participates his/her senior year, they
may obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket.
The top ten finishers in
each class will achieve All-Star status in cross country. Seniors may
obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket when they participate their senior
year.
All-State will be reserved
for seniors only; no underclass persons are eligible for All-State
recognition.
