Announcing the 9th Annual East Central University “Tiger Chase” Cross Country Invitational Thursday, September 6, 2007
Race Schedule: Jr. HS Girls (1Mi) 5:00 p.m. Guys (2 mi) 5:15 p.m. Small HS Girls (2 Mi) 5:35 p.m. Guys (5K) 6:15 p.m. Large HS Girls (2 Mi) 5:55 p.m. Guys (5K) 6:40 p.m.
Course: Pontotoc Area Vocational Technical School Viewer friendly – challenging – located on Richardson Loop Bypass on the South Side of Ada (Hwy 3W). Going towards Stonewall, take the Oak Ave. Exit and turn left on 32nd St. Going towards Latta, take the Kerr Lab Rd. Exit and turn right on 32nd St.
Entry Fees: $45.00 per team, $7.00 per individual. Separate entry fee for Men’s/Women’s Teams. Make checks payable to ECU Cross Country.
Deadline: Please send or Fax entry early to help with data entry and preparing race numbers. Please send the names of all potential runners. If possible, send entries by Monday, Sept. 3.
Scoring: Seven (7) runners may be used with five (5) to score and the other two (2) will be used as pushers. Others may run, but will not count in scoring. You do not have to designate your top seven (7) runners but PLEASE send the names of all potential runners in the entry.
Awards: Individual awards will go to the top 15 in each race.
Results: Computerized timing/scoring/results system. Results (team & individual) will be distributed on site. Results will also be faxed to each school and many area newspapers. Results will also be on the ECU website.
Concessions/ Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the Start/Finish area. Concessions will be available at the meet.
