Announcing the 12th Annual East Central University “Tiger Chase” Cross Country Invitational Thursday, September 9, 2010
Race Schedule: Jr. HS Girls (1Mi) 4:15 p.m. Guys (2 mi) 4:30 p.m. Small HS(3A & Below) Girls (2 Mi) 4:55 p.m. Guys (5K) 5:45 p.m. Large HS(4A & Above) Girls(2Mi) 5:20 p.m. Guys (5K) 6:15 p.m.
Course: Pontotoc Area Vocational Technical School Viewer friendly – challenging – located on Richardson Loop Bypass on the South Side of Ada (Hwy 3W). Going towards Stonewall, take the Oak Ave. Exit and turn left on 32nd St. Going towards Latta, take the Kerr Lab Rd. Exit and turn right on 32nd St.
Entry Fees: $50.00 per team, $8.00 per individual. Separate entry fee for Men’s/Women’s Teams. Make checks payable to ECU Cross Country.
Deadline: Monday, Sept. 6th 11:59 p.m. Please send or Fax entries earlier than entry deadline to help with data entry and preparing race numbers. Race Day Entries will NOT be accepted!!!
Class Size When faxing or emailing entries please list your class size on the entry sheet. Also know what race your school is in and what time they are scheduled to run. 3A and below schools are in the Small School Race and 4A and above schools are in the Large School Race. All junior high teams will run in the same race.
Scoring: Seven (7) runners may be used with five (5) to score and the other two (2) will be used as pushers. Others may run, but will not count in scoring. You do not have to designate your top seven (7) runners, however all potential runners need to be placed on your faxed or emailed entry list.
Awards: Individual awards will go to the top 15 in each race.
Results: Computerized timing/scoring/results system. Results (team & individual) will be distributed on site. Results will also be faxed to each school (upon request) and many area newspapers. Results will also be on the ECU website.
Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the Start/Finish area.
T-Shirts 12th annual Tiger Chase T-Shirts will be on sale for $15 each.
