14^th ANNUAL EDMOND DOG PACK RUN

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2007

The 13^th annual Edmond Dog Pack Run will be held on Friday  September 21, 2007 at Edmond’s J.L. Mitch Park. There will be 4 divisions for the high school teams along with 1 J.V. race for high school girls and 1 J.V. race for high school boys. There will also be 4 divisions for 7^th/8^th grade teams. Each middle school team will be scored as an individual team. There will be NO middle school all-star teams nor combined teams from 1 school district. Following is the time schedule for all of the races:

             9:45 a.m.   High School coaches meeting

            10:00 a.m.  A/2A/3A Varsity Girls   (3200 meters)

            10:15 a.m.  A/2A/3A Varsity Boys    (5000 meters)

            10:45 a.m.  ALL CLASSES J.V. Girls   (3200 meters)

            11:00 a.m.  ALL CLASSES J.V. Boys    (5000 meters)

            11:30 a.m.   High School coaches meeting                  

            11:45 a.m.   4A/5A Varsity Girls    (3200 meters)

            12:00 p.m.   4A/5A Varsity Boys     (5000 meters)

            12:45 p.m.   Middle School coaches meeting

            1:00 p.m.     7^th Grade girls   (1600 meters)

            1:15 p.m.     7^th Grade boys   (3200 meters)

            1:30 p.m.     8^th Grade girls   (1600 meters)

            1:45 p.m.     8^th Grade boys   (3200 meters)

AWARDS: There will be plaques for 1^st and 2^nd place teams in each varsity and middle school division. There will be individual medals for the top 20 places in each varsity and middle school division. There will be individual awards for the top 30 places in each J.V. division. There will be  no team score in the J.V. races. Coaches will time their own runners.

DIRECTIONS: J.L. Mitch Park is located ¼ mile west of Kelly on Covell in northwest Edmond. No dressing rooms are available at the park. However, restrooms are provided.

ENTRY FEE:        *$50.00 for each High School Varsity team

                                  (J.V. team is included…must have a varsity  team entered

                                   to have a J.V. team entered)

                                   *$50.00 for each 7^th and 8^th grade team

                                    * $7.00 for individual runners

                                     (Teams with 4 runners or less)
