4A/5A/6A PRE-STATE MEET

MITCH PARK EDMOND, OKLAHOMA

The PRE-STATE meet for classes 4A/5A/6A is scheduled for FRIDAY OCTOBER 8, 2010 @ Edmond’s Mitch Park (site of the state cross country meet for 4A/5A/6A).

There will be 3 divisions for High School girls (J.V. and Varsity) and 3 divisions for High School boys (J.V. and Varsity). Following is the time schedule for all of the races:

                9:45 a.m.       6A High School coaches meeting

                10:00 a.m.     6A Varsity girls  (3200 meters)

                10:20 a.m.     6A J.V. girls  (3200 meters)

                10:45 a.m.     6A Varsity boys   (5000 meters)

                11:10 a.m.     6A J.V. boys  (5000 meters)

                11:45 a.m.     4A High School coaches meeting

                12:00 p.m.     4A Varsity girls  (3200 meters)

                12:20 p.m.     4A J.V. girls   (3200 meters)

                12:45 p.m.     4A Varsity boys  (5000 meters)

                  1:10 p.m.     4A J.V. boys    (5000 meters)

                  1:45 p.m.     5A High School coaches meeting

                  2:00 p.m.     5A Varsity girls   (3200 meters)

                  2:20 p.m.     5A J.V. girls   (3200 meters)

                  2:45 p.m.     5A Varsity boys    (5000 meters)

                  3:10 p.m.     5A J.V. boys   (5000 meters)

AWARDS: There will be individual awards for the top 20 places in each varsity and J.V. race. There will be Team Championship plaques for each varsity race. There will be no team scores in the J.V. races.

DIRECTIONS: Mitch Park is located ¼ mile west of Kelly on Covell in northwest Edmond. No dressing rooms are available @ the park. However, restrooms are provided.

ENTRY FEE:                     *$65.00 for each High School team

                             (J.V. team is included…must have a varsity team entered to have a                  

                                                     J.V. team entered)

                                             *$7.00 for individual runners

                                          (Teams with less than 5 runners)
