Carissa Levingston of Midwest City High School set a new girls' State Record of 11.57 at the State Meet in Ardmore Saturday May 10, 2008. She had set the record again in the preliminaries the day before at 11.75 surpassing her old record of 11.76.

Her dash surpassed the old record of 11.84 set by Felicia Douglas of Watonga High School in 1987 at the Oklahoma State Meet in Mustang.
