Putnam City Invitational Track Meet Saturday March 1, 2008
On behalf of the Putnam City Athletic Department, we extend to your school’s track teams an invitation to participate in the Putnam City Invitational Track Meet on Saturday March 1st. This will be a timed finals meet.
Times: Stadium open….. 8:30 Field Events…… 9:45 Coaches meeting. 9:15 Running Events. 10:00
Entry Fee: $80.00 for each boys and girls team. $10.00 per individual if six or less team members; “B” teams are permitted for full team price.
Divisions: There will be two divisions, boys and girls.
Medals: Awarded to top five (5) places for individual events and top three (3) relay events;
Trophies: Team trophies for the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division
Team Points: Awarded to 1st – 6th places (10-8-6-4-2-1) in individual events and (20-16-12-8-4-2) in the relays
Equipment: Putnam City will furnish starting blocks and tennis balls for relay marks (no tape, please); ¼” or shorter spikes required
Concessions: Concession stand will be available under the north stands;
Camps: Athletes/camps will be permitted in the north stands or on the east side of the track; no athletes are permitted in the south stands; athletes will not be permitted to “camp” on the field; after their event is over they must exit the track/field area
Buses: Park buses in north lot on west end by the main school bldg.; teams will have to enter through northwest gate
