New State Record

Kylie Spurgeon, Owasso, set a new State record in the discus Friday at the State meet held at Tulsa East Central. She threw 158-08 to break the record of 157-10 held by Bambi Carson of Marlow set in 1997 at Weatherford.

Chelsea Threet set a new state record at 12-04 in the pole vault at the Regional meet at Tulsa Union. She surpassed her record of 12-03.25 set earlier at the Oklahoma Baptist University Meet.
